1993 Bombay March 12 is Mammotty's upcoming film directed by Baby Janardhanan. Bombay March 12 is the story of innocent people who were affected by the bomb explosion at Mumbai on March 12, 1993. Director is trying to tell the story along the sideline of this explosion and after effects of the same. This film will be the first one for script writer Baby Janardhanan as a director. Bombay March 12 is a multilingual film and will be released simultaneously in Malayalam, Hindia, Tamil and Telugu. The locations of this film are Kerala and Rajasthan.
Mammootty is doing double roles in Bombay March 12. His roles are Sanaathan Bhatt and Sameer- one is an Hindu and the later one a Muslim. Director Lal is also doing an important role in this film. Roma is casted as the heroine in this heavy subject film.
