The story of Mohanlal's new Malayalam film Pranayam is about love as the name suggests. This is the third film of superstar Mohanlal with director Blessy and just like the previous three films Blessy is going to put something new in the story of Pranayam. Pranayam reveals the life and story of three people: Mathews, his wife and a football player. Mohanlal is handling the role of Mathews in Pranayam. Jaya Prabha is doing the role of his wife and Anupam Kher is doing the role of football player in this movie.
The movie tells the story of love in a different passion. Mohanlal and Jayaprabha are married couples and they are in their old ages. One day Anupam Kher comes in their life. He was Jayaprabha's lover in their early teenage life. Both of them began a new life and a new relationship of friendship. Is this new relation has something to do with their teenage love?
