Spanish Masala is the latest Malayalam film from director Lal Jose with Dileep in the lead role. Spanish Masala will be different treat to Malayalis as the movie has been shot almost 95% in Spain - a rare thing to happen in Malayalam film industry. Movie Spanish Masala also features Daniela Zacherl, a foreign model, in the lead heroine role. Amy Jackson (Madirasippattanam fame) was initially casted in the heroine role of Spanish Masala, but later Daniela took the place in the film.
Spanish Masala Story
The story of Spanish Masala is about the love and troubles faced by two people of different nationality. Yes, it's about Dileep, an Indian, and Daniela, a Spanish. Dileep is doing the role of a mimicry artist named Charlie in Malayalam film Spanish Masala. Charlie goes to Spain with his mimicry troupe to perform a stage show. But the fate of Charlie was to work as a butler of a former Indian Ambassador. Kamila is the daughter of this Indian Ambassador. She is very nice lady who has a place for Indians in her heart. From here onwards the story of movie Spanish Masala takes a turn, telling their love along with the troubles of the couples. Kunchako Boban is also playing an important role in Spanish Masala. Kunchako Boban's character name in Spanish Masala is Rahul.
